Margaret L. Malone's Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret L. Steagall Malone, 90 of Leesville will be held at 2:00p.m. Monday, April 14, 2008 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville.
Burial will follow in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Slagle, La, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Malone was born in Cravens, and was a longtime resident of Leesville. She passed away April 11, 2008 at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville.
Mrs. Malone was a graduate of Boyce High School and Meadow Druaghn Business School. She was a long time employee of the Vernon Parish Welfare Department.
She is survived by: Five Sisters: Helen Davies of Leesville, Billye Cohen of Leesville, Bobby Hall of Columbia, Mary Gilbert of Leesville, and Betty Foster of Tioga, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her mother Carrie Berry Steagall; her husband Elmer E. Malone; her father and stepmother Allen A. Steagall and Nellie Peavy Steagall; Three sisters – Dorothy Steagall Price, June Steagall Tidwell, and Carene Steagall Fauser.
Pallbearers will be Mike Cohen, Ricky Richards, David Colon, Russell Richards, Joe Tidwell, Randy Foster, Jeff Foster, Clyde Price
Honarary Pallbearers will be Bobby Huie, Lenny Fauser, and John Hall.
