Mrs. Brooks & Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of working with Mr. Bob when he was with the DeRidder Police Dept. He was so nice. He never hesitated to help and he was full of useful information. I was with him in the first Reserve Police Officer class for the department and he was always welcome in the dispatch office. Aunt Thelma, I wish I could be there to give you one of Mama's big hugs but since I can't, I'll be thinking of you and praying that you are surrounded by peace and all the love that you can possibly handle. Uncle Bob was a joy to be around and I will miss seeing him when I visit with you in the future but I know he is walking and talking with God. Love you and God bless.

Mrs. Brooks,We're so saddened by the passing of Mr. Brooks. Ronnie and I admired this very special man who (during mass)would offer us the 'sign of peace', not as a simple gesture but a 'gift' that was given straight from his heart. After reading his obituary, I'm now learning that we knew only half the man. What a loss for not only you and your family, but for every life that he touched. Aunt "T", so wish I could be there tomorrow and Wednesday for you and Uncle Bob. The past several years have been a joy getting to know my Uncle Bob. He was so much fun to be around. I just wish I had known him when I was growing up. Life is funny like that you know. I love you both. I will miss him a lot.God give you comfort and peace.
