Maggie Isgitt's Obituary
Funeral services for Maggie Isgitt, 89, of Anacoco, Louisiana will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015, at the Old Anacoco Baptist in Anacoco with Rev. Wayne Chance officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 13th from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home and on Saturday, February 14th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
Maggie, the daughter of Charles and Nettie Northsworthy Nash, was born April 8, 1925, in Peason, LA. She passed away at her residence in Anacoco, Tuesday, February 10, 2015.
Mrs. Isgitt was a very active member of the Eastern Star, member Orange Chapter 224. She was also member of Crystal Springs Baptist Church, Kurthwood Quilting Club, Shriners and she volunteered at Helping Hands.
She was preceded in death by parents; Charles T. & Nettie Northsworthy Nash; three brothers, Carl T., Quinton & Gary D. Nash; two sisters, Pauline Williams & Bobbie Moss and grandson, Richard Johnson.
She is survived by five sons, Ricky Isgitt, Billy (Kathy) Isgitt, Jerry Isgitt, Roger Isgitt & Randy Isgitt; three daughters, Patricia Isgitt, Carol (Charlie) Majors, & Kayla (Jim) Summitt; sixteen grandchildren, Jerrel (Kathy) Johnson, Melanie Johnson, Shebia Isgitt, Lavon (Kendra) Isgitt, Ria (Charles) Moore, Lonnie Isgitt, Kellie (Alan) Pavloc, Charles (Kris) Isgitt, William (Jessie) Isgitt, Michelle (Miles) Riley, Courtney (Chris) Morrish, Ashleigh Isgitt, Samantha (Greg) Loftin, Jennifer (Lance) Chaney, Jessica (Jared) Poteet, & Kyle Summitt; forty five great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren; four sisters, Patsy (Herman) Williams, Shirley Graham, Connie (Marvin) Hilton, & Sandra Hilton.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Lavon Isgitt, Lonnie Isgitt, Jerrel Johnson, Charles Isgitt, William Isgitt & Kyle Summitt and Honorary Pallbearer, Richard Johnson.
