There are very few men like him. He preached and taught the word of God in the Church, after Church he would fellowship for hours with us, he knew us and we knew him. He would expand the word, conveying additional depth to our understanding with every conversation. He welcomed questions, took the time to answer them and provided biblically back answers. He was there with the people in both work and play. His actions and his words went along with each other. His faithfulness and stewardship were evident by the Landmark he placed in the heart of Leesville and left debt free for the generations that would follow as-well-as the leaders who come after him. We were so blessed to have him in our life.
