Louis Edward Ross' Obituary
Visitation for Louis Edward Ross, 88, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2011, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. A private burial service will be held at a later date in Arkansas.
Louis, the son of Michael and Mary Panfil Ross was born on October 13, 1923, in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. He passed away on Friday, October 14, 2011, at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville, LA. Mr. Ross retired from the United States Air Force after 30 years of service. He worked as a diesel mechanic at various locations in Arkansas before retiring to Louisiana in 1997.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maycel Ross.
He is survived by his sons, Michael Ross & wife Rebecca of Scottsboro, AL & Carl B. Ross of Cabot, AR ; daughters, Sharmyn Kay Weatherford & husband Billy of Leesville & Cheryl Landrum & husband Troy of Willspoint, TX; sister, Amelia Rose Runski of Penn; grandchildren, Amanda Offutt-Ochoa, Heather Turney and Tory Landrum and three great grandchildren.
