Lou Reid Belsha's Obituary
Funeral services for Lou Reid Belsha, 96, of Anacoco will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 7, 2016, at Cold Springs Baptist Church in Anacoco, with Reverends Ken Dickerson, Wade Carroll and Jackie Bond officiating. Burial will follow in Cold Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 6th beginning at 6:00 P.M until 10:00 P.M. at Cold Springs Baptist Church.
Lou Reid, the daughter of Luther and Evie Ann Goins Perry, was born June 6, 1920. She passed away Friday, November 4, 2016.
Mrs. Belsha was a lifelong member of Cold Springs Baptist Church. She worked for a number of years as a cafeteria worker for the Vernon Parish School System. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with them.
Mrs. Belsha is survived by her son, Lane and Lorena Belsha of Anacoco; daughter, Faerie and Dean Jackson of Anacoco; one brother, Willie Harold Perry and wife Marcelle of Anacoco; two sisters, Bobbie Leonard of Leesville and Liz Roberts of Bedford, Indiana and ten grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Belsha is preceded in death by her husband, Milton “Tuck” Belsha; son, Jerry Belsha and Great Grandson Lyndon Belsha.
