Loretta Mae Simmons' Obituary
Loretta Mae Simmons entered peacefully into rest on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the age of 80 years, 2 months and 24 days, in Alexandria, LA with her loving family by her side. Loretta was born on Friday, May 1, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio to Micheal and Mary Nowacki Piecuch.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder with Deacon Al Weinnig officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary being held at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lewis Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder.
Loretta was a devoted Catholic who loved her family and friends, whole heartedly. She loved animals of all kinds.
Left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Robert Williamson and Janice of Rosepine, Kenneth Williamson and Diana of Arkansas, and Wayne Williamson and Athena of Hornbeck; one daughter, Mi-Chin Prather of Lake Charles; two brothers, Larry Piecuch and wife Marsha of Ohio, and Eddie Piecuch and wife Diana of Ohio; grandchildren, Aaron and Brooke of Rosepine, Brantley and Brandy of Rosepine, Shawn and Theresa of DeRidder, Lindsey and Dereck of Oklahoma, Manuel and Inkeri of Arkansas, Johnathan and Caitlin of Arkansas, Payton and Bayle of Arkansas, Courtney and Hunter of DeRidder, Timothy and Stephanie of Rosepine, Victoria of Rosepine, Trevor, Rilynn and Carson of Hornbeck and Autumn, Winter and Dyllon; as well as seventeen great grandchildren and host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, Alton C. Simmons; parents, Micheal and Mary Piecuch.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Aaron, Brantley, Shawn, Payton, Jonathan, and Travis.
Those honored to serve as honorary pallbearer is James Gill.
