Lionel Barrow's Obituary
Funeral services for Lionel Barrow, 72, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville with Rev. Maurice Bynum officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Memorial Cemetery in Leesville, LA, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5 pm - 9 pm, Friday, March 11, 2011, at the funeral home.
Lionel, the son of Bennett Barrow, Sr., and Mary Ella Young Barrow was born on January 13, 1939, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville, LA. Mr. Barrow retired from the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War. He owned Barrow’s Repair Service A/C & Refrigeration.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rita T. Barrow; grandparents; 4 aunts, 2 uncles and one brother
He is survived by his daughter, Regina Kincey of Leesville; goddaughter, Natasha K. Smith of Ft. Hood, TX, and 3 brothers, Raymond Lee Barrow, George Edward Barrow and Carl Ersken Barrow all of New Orleans.
