Linda Carolyn Good, 70, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 in DeRidder, Louisiana. Linda, the daughter of Percy W. and Catherine Rose (Young) Simmons was born on January 14, 1950, in DeRidder, Louisiana.
Visitation will begin Sunday, November 22, 2020 from 1:00 PM until Funeral Service begins at 4:00 PM, at First United Pentecostal Church of DeRidder, 120 Mahlon Street, DeRidder, Louisiana, with Rev. Zale Lewis, Rev. Chance Lewis and Rev. Kevin Reeves officiating. Interment will be private for immediate family only.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband George Good of DeRidder, LA; sons Rev. Percy M. Good (Tammy) of DeRidder, LA, Gerald Smith (Amanda Knight) of DeRidder, LA; daughter Priscilla Campbell (Billy) of DeRidder, LA; brothers Rev. Rex Simmons of Beaumont, TX, Stephen Simmons of Rosepine, LA; sister Loretta Sue Cooley of DeRidder, LA; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren, and one great grandchild on the way.
Preceded in death by her parents Percy W. Simmons and Catherine Rose Young Simmons; and brothers Randy Winfred Simmons and Samuel Simmons.
Those honored to serve as pallbearer are Dale Cooley, Al Cooley, Keith Cooley, Clint Simmons, Cody Maddox and Craig Reeves.
Those honored to serve as honorary pallbearer are Thomas Curtis, Robert Curtis, Ricky Harper, and Blake Campbell.
