Graveside services for Levi Bennett, Jr., 68, of Leesville will be held Friday, Feb. 17th at 2 pm at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, Feb 16th from 5 pm till 9 pm at the Labby Memorial Funeral Read Obituary
Levi and I became good friends over 13 years ago when I began coming to Ft Polk in support of JRTC Medical Exercises. He embraced all US Air Force personnel welcoming them as long lost friends and making them feel Leesville was their home. Levi is a true friend I miss and will miss in having lunch with during my visits to Leesville.
Levi was a true friend, I met Levi when I was sent to Fort Polk to build a job he took me in like a long time friend, on the weekends that I was in town he would always call me to go somewhere with him or just go to the bar and watch sports, he made the two years that I was there a lot of fun. Levi was a very close friend Rocky, Levi and I spent many nights together just hanging out and talking. Levi was one heck of a cook. He made the best steak when we would go to the bar and watch football. They were my hero's when I went thru some rough times.Levi will be greatly missed. What a very great man. Levi I love you and will miss you dearly. Days Inn. (Rockys) will never be the same without Levi and Rocky there.
