LeVerne's Obituary
LeVerne Vogel, 78 yrs., of Ragley, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 25, 2012, at Baton Rouge, LA. LeVerne was born on November 9, 1934 to Jesse Coleman and Modie Miers Coleman at Longville, LA. She lived most of her life in Longville and Ragley and attended Memorial Baptist Church, Longville. She received a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in education from McNeese University. For 20 years she taught at South Beauregard Elementary School and also taught the gifted children’s program. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include 1 daughter, Tina Mangiaracina and husband Ray of Baton Rouge, LA; 1 sister, Sherry Jones and husband F.M. of Baton Rouge, LA; 2 brothers, Rayburn Coleman and wife Thelma of Ragley, LA and Marlon Coleman of Beaumont, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband Herman Vogel and her parents and a brother.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012, 11:00 AM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder, LA. Minister officiating will be Rev. Mark Norwood. Burial will be a Barentine Cemetery, Longville, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder, LA.
Her visitation will begin on Friday, December 28, 2012, 4 PM until 9 PM and on Saturday, December 29, 2012, 9 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
