Lester Ashworth Calcote Boudreaux's Obituary
Funeral services for Lester Ashworth Calcote Boudreaux will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. in the Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Arlen Smith and Rev. Jason Nolde officiating. Interment will follow in the John C. White Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. in the church.
Lester was born on October 23, 1931 in DeRidder, LA to her parents, Frank Ashworth and Hazel White Ashworth. She passed away on September 30, 2023 at The Woodlands Health Center in Leesville, LA.
Lester was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxillary of the VFW. She attended Unity Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, embroidery and gardening; tending to her flowers was her favorite thing to do. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and making memories.
Lester is preceded in death by her parents: Frank Ashworth and Hazel White Ashworth; husbands, J.P. Calcote and Whitney Boudreaux; her sons: Charles Calcote, Greg Calcote.
Left to cherish her memory are her son: Gary Calcote and wife Dawn of the Providence Community; daughter in law: Glenda Calcote of DeRidder; Grandchildren: Cricket Calcote of DeRidder, Brian Calcote and wife Kerry of Sugartown, William Calcote and wife Lois of the Providence Community, Travis Calcote and wife Ciara of DeRidder, Joey Calcote of the Providence Community, James Brandt of the United Kingdom; Great Grandchildren: Bronc Dockray, Abbyanne Dressel, Allie Calcote, Owen Calcote, Ashley McAlister, Arianna Malone, Christopher Johnson, Ethan Johnson, Kayleigh Calcote, Zayden Calcote, Wyatt Brandt; brother: Audry Ashworth of Anacoco, LA; sisters: Marie Stewart of Hammond, LA, Juanita Lewis of Huntsville, TX and 5 great-great grandchildren.
