Leonard Franklin Ross' Obituary
Leonard Franklin Ross departed from this life for eternal salvation on the evening of June 5, 2012. Leonard was a devoted and loving husband and father, a true patriot, but most of all a great friend to many. He was born to Scot-Irish parents in Hornbeck, LA. Leonard was a veteran of the USAF serving more than 20 years during the Vietnam conflict. He was also the Supt of the Shreveport City Jail and Warden of the Penal Correctional Facility located in Sibley, LA.
Leonard is survived by his sons, Alan (Gail), Bobby (Melissa), Walter, and Steven (Amy) and his daughters, Kathleen and Kimberly (John), his brother, Jimmy Don (Marie); 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Hornbeck, LA, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
