Funeral services for Lelia Faye Lankford, 65, of New Llano, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2014, at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Glass Window Cemetery, under the Read Obituary
I'm so sorry for your loss, Mildred. So much you went through lately. Lelia will surely be missed by many. Her sense of humor, the fun we used to have, will always be in my Memory. I'm sure she is an Angel above. Mildred, please remember everything happens for a reason, don't blame yourself, it was meant to be even though we cannot imagine why and that it causes you so much pain.

God gained a wonderful, beautiful and strong angel that I was blessed to have as my momma. You have always been there for me no matter what. You loved me unconditionally. You taught me and Sherry to be strong, independent, and out spoken women. You also taught us our beliefs about God. I don't know what I'm going to do with out you nor how I can ever forgive myself for the accident that ended up taking you from us. I was always a momma's girl. I know in time I will forgive myself.
