Funeral services for Lela Bell White will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 1, 2022 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville with Bro. Sandy Guynn officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery in Anacoco, LA.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 31, 2022 in the funeral home.
Lela Bell White, 87, of Leesville passed away on August 28, 2022. She was born on April 16, 1935 in Vidor, TX.
Lela loved her family and she loved visits from her family. She loved collecting recipes, when she was younger she was a terrific cook.
Lela was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Charles White; parents, George & Ellen Simmons; brothers, Andrew & Virgil Simmons; sister, Eva Aldridge.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Martha & Robert Trimmell, Becky & Thomas Smart; sons, Tim & Linda White and Alton & Pam White, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
