Lee Raymond Williams' Obituary
Funeral services for Lee Raymond Williams, 84, of Anacoco will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at 2 pm at the Good Hope Baptist Church in Anacoco, with Dr. Andrew Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery, in Anacoco, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 19th, from 5 pm until 9 pm and then 9 am Wednesday until service time at the church.
Lee, the son of Joseph and Mae Ella McConathy Williams, was born on August 19, 1933, in Hornbeck, Louisiana. He passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017, in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Mr. Williams worked for 62 years as a superintendent in commercial construction in Beaumont, Texas, building hospitals, banks and two schools. He was a loving, husband, father, grandfather and brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Billy “Fish” Williams, Joe Williams, Mack Arthur Williams & Floyd Williams and grandson, Brandon Lee Eaves.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Doris Williams of Anacoco; daughters, Deloyce & husband, Larry Jasper of Vidor, TX and Faye & husband, Kevin Eaves of Anacoco; brothers, Charlie & wife, Melba Williams of Anacoco, Fred & wife, Earlene Williams of Hornbeck & Buddy & wife, Paige Williams of Anacoco; sister, Shirley Hamrick of Hornbeck; grandchildren, Stephen Jasper, Chris Landry, Glenna Landry, Raymond Eaves, & Miranda Johnson and great grandchildren, Nicole, Paige, Kirsten, Tommy, Lilly, Kimberly, Zetta, Breanna, Raylyn, Christian and Brandon.
