Funeral services for Laura Leigh Wright, 39 of DeQuincy, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 15, 2015, at Charity Tabernacle in Dry Creek, LA with Rev. William Hughes and Rev. Tommy McGee officiating. Burial will follow in Dry Creek Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder, LA. Laura passed from this life on Sunday, May 10, 2015, at her residence.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2015, at 5 PM until 9 PM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder, LA and Friday, 10 AM until the time of the service at the church in Dry Creek.
Laura was born on Tuesday, September 23, 1975, to Alvin James and Delma Lovett Wright in Lake Charles, LA. She lived all of her life in Ragley, LA. She was loved dearly by all and had a servant’s heart. She loved being outdoors with her nieces and nephews playing baseball, swimming, riding horses and spending time with family and friends. Laura was a member of Charity Tabernacle in Dry Creek. She was loved and cherished dearly by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Ann Hoffpauir. Laura is survived by 2 sisters, Delores Darlene Pack of Sulphur, LA and Tammy Louise Bellard of Lake Charles, LA and her parents, Alvin James Wright of Dry Creek, LA and Delma Rae Wright of Ragley, LA and numerous nieces and nephews.
