Larry Clark's Obituary
Funeral services for Larry Clark, 80, of Longville, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder with Rev. Jimmy Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery in Singer, Louisiana.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 5:00 P.M- 08:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Larry was born on June 16, 1942 in Singer, Louisiana to his parents, Jimmy and Bernice Ashworth Clark. He passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022 in Rosepine, Louisiana.
Mr. Clark enjoyed fishing and sitting on his front porch drinking coffee. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed driving to Bearhead on Sunday afternoons reminiscing of the good ole days. He enjoyed going to the horse races with his wife. He never met a stranger and was loved by many.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Clark; parents, Jimmy B. and Bernice Clark; son, Leslie Odel Clark and brothers, Mancel Clark, Percy Clark and Jimmy Gail Clark.
Left to cherish his memory is his sons, Larry Clark and wife Mary of Longville and Jeffery Clark & wife Kari of Arkansas; daughters, Lorretta Causey and husband Michael of DeRidder, Shari Tuffo and husband Richard of Arkansas, Chasity LeJeune and husband Danny of Arkansas and Paulette Clark of Kirbyville; brothers and sisters, Carol Clark of Mississippi, Jimmy Burns Clark Jr. of Singer, Bonnie Cooley of Merryville, Donnie Gillis of Singer and Kathy Powers of Jasper; 19 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
