Landry G. Gill, 53, of Pitkin, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 in New Orleans, LA. Landry, the son of Ray and Jewel Lene Wisby Gill was born on October 1, 1965, in Merryville, Louisiana.
Memorial service will be held Sunday, December 9, 2018, at 2:00 PM, in Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, LA with Rev. Arlen Smith officiating.
He was a loving family man, who loved nothing more than spending time with his family. He would give the shirt off his back to help a friend in need and never met a stranger.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Debbie Gill of Anacoco, LA; son, Lane Gill of Anacoco, LA; daughters, Hanna (Cody) Johnson of Leesville, Ashton (Chris) Griffin of Rosepine, Kassey Thompson of Ball, LA; dad, Ray Gill; brother, Byron Gill of Chopin, LA; sisters, Sharon Hoffman of OK, Zell Reeves of OK, Mary Lynn (Johnny) Johnson of Cravens, LA, Lisa (Mike) Perkins of DeRidder, LA, Kay (Tony) Nessmith of Hineston, LA, Amy Duff of OK; aunt, Maggie Inman of Rosepine, LA; uncle, Milton Wisby of Rosepine, LA, grandchildren, McKenzie, Madison, Avery, Auston, Abby, Ashlynn, Chandler, Colton, Carter; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his mother, Jewel Lene Wisby Gill; brother, Wayne Gill; and sister, Ramona Tuck.
