Kristie Lerline Cherry (Kris)'s Obituary
Kristie Lerline Cherry (Kris) was born August 10, 1966 in Lawton, OK. She passed away September 28, 2025.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Grandma Boogerbutt (as her grandchildren called her affectionately) loved all her grandchildren and great grandchildren with all her heart. She loved doing her word searches and crocheting. She loved gardening and all her many plants.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jo Cherry and Carol Wert, her brother Chancey, her nephew Jo Luis, her grandson Lil' Man and her longtime friend Robert (Smurf) Bell. She is survived by her children Amber Cherry (David) of Leesville, Echo Cherry of Leesville, Jessica Stephens of Leesville, David Logan (Chelsey) of DeRidder, her siblings Karol Cherry of Rosepine, Lawanda Cole (Jimmy) of DeRidder, David Blair (Wendy) of Arkansas, her grandchildren Kaydence, John, Lili, Madison, Daisy, Coy, Charlie, Anthony, Manuel (MJ), Malik, DJ, and Maya, by her great grandchildren Christina and Dean, by her significant other Mike Andrews of Leesville and a slew of family and friends.
We will be having a celebration of life October 18th at noon at Bryant Park 910 Woodrow W Batties Dr, DeRidder, LA 70634 for those who wish to attend. PEACE LUV & HIPPIE BEADS.
