Kimbery Ann Brannon's Obituary
Kimberly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and aunt. She passed from this life to her heavenly home on March 29,2026 after a 17-year battle with cancer.
As much as Kim loved her family, she loved her lord and savior Jesus even more. She
tried to live her life as a testimony for Jesus. Her greatest wish was for everyone she met to know Jesus as their personal savior.
Kim was born on June 9, 1974 to Robert and Pat Dickens in Kinder, La. She graduated
from DeRidder High school in 1992 as co valedictorian. She continued her education at
McNeese State University where she earned her master’s degree in education. Kim started her teaching career at Hyatt Elementary school. When Hyatt school was closed due to consolidation with Merryville school, Kim moved to Singer Elementary school where she continued to teach for several years. She later moved her teaching career to DeRidder alternative school where she taught until her retirement.
After retiring from the education system, Kim started an internet business selling items
with Poshmark a California based company. Kim's online business was known as
@poshmishmosh. After only a couple of years her business was so successful that she was selected to be a keynote speaker at their annual convention in San Francisco. Kim continued her internet business until the time of her death. Also, after her retirement from the school system, while running her online business, she also worked for Glen Dean Insurance in their tax section. Kim continued to work for Glen Dean until her cancer treatments stopped her from working there.
Kim is survived by her husband of thirty-one years, Tim Brannon, sons Kidder Brannon
{Madison) of Ragley, La., Justus Brannon (Cheyenne), grandson Kai Allen Brannon of
DeRidder, parents Robert and Pat Dickens, mother in law Dianne Brannon, sister in law Missy Wilkinson (Jeff) all of DeRidder along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Kim was preceded in death by her sister Alicia Dickens, father in law Joey Brannon,
sister in law Tammy Ray, paternal grandparents William A. (Red) Dickens and Orel Harper Dickens, maternal grandparents Clarance Marcantel Jr. and Bonnie Andrews Marcantel.
The family will hold a private memorial to celebrate Kim's life.
