Kevin Neal's Obituary
Funeral services for Kevin Neal, 36, of Hornbeck will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 14th at the First Baptist Church of Hornbeck with Bro. Bill Hines officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Hornbeck. Friends may visit Friday, November 13th starting at 6pm at the church. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Kevin passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at his residence in Hornbeck. He attended Hornbeck High School and was a self employed carpenter. He was a loving husband and father and loved hunting, fishing, camping, canoeing, and the outdoors and being with family and friends. He was member of the American Legion Retired Post 387.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather James Neal; grandmother Edna Neal; great Aunt Lavern Vogel; cousin Michelle Ellis and step-father John Brown.
He is survived by wife of 18 years, Traci Neal of Hornbeck, La; sons D. J. Neal & Austin Neal both of Hornbeck, LA; father & mother, Charles W. & Margie Neal of Hornbeck, LA ; mother Peggy Holt Brown of Yellow Pine, TX; brother Charles W. Neal II of Hornbeck, LA; sisters, Debbie Moses of Hornbeck, LA, Rhonda Klesko of Leesville, LA, Charlene Jones of Lemoore, CA & Christine Prewitt of Jerome, AR; 19 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be, Robbie West, Jason West, Casey West, Will Klesko, Eric Klesko, & D.J. Neal.
Honorary Pallbearers will be, Griffen Jones, Matt Klesko, Austin Neal, Nick McKinley, Josh McKinley, and Meagan Neal.
Memorial Donations can be made to the Kevin Neal Memorial Fund in c/o First Baptist Church of Hornbeck.
