Kevin the son of Thomas Charles and Patricia Ann Gordon Bradford was born on August 26, 1964, in Kansas City, MO. He passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016, in DeRidder.
Kevin was the son of a military man who spent time in Taiwan, Germany and travelled all over the United States before he was 10 years old.
He loved sports as a child playing basketball, football and baseball and also enjoyed camping and fishing. Kevin graduated from Pickering High School in 1982. He attended Louisiana College for a couple of years where he pledged and became a member of the Tau Alpha Kappa fraternity.
After college he joined the U.S. Air Force where he learned to repair airplanes. After leaving the Air Force, Kevin earned his A&P license and became a commercial aircraft mechanic.
Kevin had a contagious smile and a huge heart that naturally endeared him to people. He made friends everywhere he went.
He was a huge fan of the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints football teams. Kevin spent the last quarter of his life as a resident of Waco, Texas. He made hundreds of friends there, loved his job and loved his city. His passing will leave a hole in the hearts of all of us.
He is survived by his parents, Tom & Pat Bradford of DeRidder; brother, T. C. Bradford & wife, Danna of Pickering; sister, Alisa Martino of Austin, TX and nephews, Joshua Bradford of Pickering and Ryan Bradford of Lake Charles.
