Kenneth E. Nations' Obituary
Funeral services for Kenneth E. Nations, 81, of Dry Creek, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Dry Creek with the Bro. Dore’ Langley & Bro. Rod Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder.
Visitation will be held from 2 pm - 10 pm, Saturday, November 20, 2010 and from 1 pm until time of service on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at the church.
Mr. Nations went to meet the Lord on Friday, November 19, 2010.
He was a lifelong resident of Dry Creek and a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church. He retired from the Louisiana Forestry Commission.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Bobbie Nations of Dry Creek; two daughters, Sandra White (Bob) of Dry Creek & Debra Pruna (Dana) of Arizona; two sons, Dennis Clifton of Sulphur & Jeff (Jeane) Markway of Reeves; daughter-in-law Beth Markway; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 3 nieces; 2 nephews and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by one son, Earl Markway; his parents, Irvin & Jennie Nations; brother, Calvin Nations and two sisters, Laverne Stalsby and Trilla Mae Cole.
