I have been in this family for 30 years. I never remember a time that I called Kenneth by his first name. For the first few years,i called him dad. Then after that, we had Lacy. Up to this day, I have always called him pawpaw. He was the best at frying catfish. That's who taught me the correct way to fry them. Before he got real sick, i would help granny take care of him. One day i remember so well, I was at home, and he called me to come over and bring him a bandaid, and so I put up my plate of lunch, and headed over to his house with a bandaid. little did I know, he had plenty of them. He just wanted company. Mark raced dirt cars, well I remember one particular night, we had a real good race and Mark won a trophy. So the next day was Easter Sunday, so, me and Mark, Clay, Lacy and Kelby head to the nursing home, Mark trophy in hand, the smile on pawpaw's face that day was just priceless. We took pictures and had a really nice visit. But then pawpaw got weaker and weaker. His body got tired and it was time for him to leave on his journey. PawPaw, i am gonna really miss you so much, and I Love You. May you Rest In Peace now, your loving daughter-in-law, Denise
