We are certainly going to miss Ken, our \"Schwan man\". Every other Thursday will not be the same, without him. He patiently waited while I tried to figure out just what I wanted to order, and we had many great conversations about the Army, life, etc. I spoke with him just before Thanksgiving and prayed for God to heal him. To the Family, I am very sorry for your loss, for it is great, indeed. See you in Heaven, Ken!
To the Family of Ken Marker.\r\n\r\nMy heart breaks to here of the loss of a great person. My husband got to know Ken as our Schwann man. Ken was someone you couldn't help but like. A very out going personality. He always had a smile and a joke to tell. He loved his family very much. He was always giving us a update on his children and what they were doing. Oh yes. He was very proud to have Serve is Country. Ken was a true American and a Soldier of the US Army. Now he is a Soldier up in Heaven looking down upon his family. He will be watching over you each and everyday of your life. Ken will be missed very much in our little town of Elizbeth. The last day I saw Ken was his last visit on the Schwanns Run. My husband and I wished him well, told him what a wonderful person he was and I gave him a big hug. \r\n\r\n\r\nKen Marker was one of those remarkable people that really took time to get to know those around him. He is one of my personal Heroes; A veteran that served and sacrificed for his country. Ken's caring and strong character reminded me what it means to be a Soldier. He will be missed!
