Funeral services for Kenneth L. Johnson, 81, of DeRidder, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 19, 2023 in the Gravel Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Michael Burkes officiating. Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery. Services are entrusted to the care of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 5:00 P.M until 10:00 P.M. and on Sunday, from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 2:00 P.M. at the church.
Kenneth L. Johnson was born on December 19, 1941 in Cravens, Louisiana to Eddie and Clara James Johnson. Kenneth passed on March 15, 2023 in Alexandria, Louisiana.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Clara James Johnson Buchanan; his sister, Jeanette Johnson Teal; his brother, Curtis Lee Johnson and nephew, Rodney Teal.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Caroline Lucille Lockhart Johnson; son, Eddie Johnson & wife, Kayce Ann; daughter, Angie Wisby; one granddaughter, Karly Stutes & husband, Anthony; 5 grandsons, Scott Wisby, Colton & wife Rachel, Coleburn & wife Aryn, Corman and Coryn Johnson; 3 great-grandchildren, Blakely, Addie K. and Coleston and a host of nieces and nephews.
