Kelly Allen Dunn's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kelly Allen Dunn, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world on December 14, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on June 21, 1959, in DeQuincy, Louisiana, Kelly was a beacon of love and strength for all who knew him.
Kelly was the cherished son of Kenneth Dunn and Bobbie Jean Alston Dunn, who preceded him in death. Also, his son, Dustin James Dunn; his daughter, Debralee Allyn Dunn; and his dear sister, Jimmie Dunn. Their memories remained close to his heart throughout his life.
In his 47 years of marriage, Kelly found his soulmate in Cynthia Anne Tyler Dunn, who lovingly stood by his side through life’s joys and challenges. Together, they created a beautiful family, raising their children, Kenneth Beau Dunn and his wife, Chelsea, and Natasha Palmer and her husband, Richard, all of DeRidder, Louisiana. Kelly's legacy continues through his grandchildren, Blakely Elizabeth, KayDee, Shelby, and Cody, who were truly the apples of his eye. He adored his grandchildren, and they brought immense joy and laughter into his life. His brother, Benjamin Dunn, and his wife, Glenda, of DeRidder, Louisiana, and his sister, Debby Dunn, of Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Kelly was a man of many excellent qualities. His charismatic personality drew people in, and his strong will inspired those around him. He embraced the great outdoors, devoting many hours to tinkering as a mechanic and sharing his love for horses. Whether riding through the fields or attending local rodeos, Kelly found great happiness in the simple pleasures of life.
A devoted provider, Kelly was known for his unwavering support and love for his family. He was a constant presence, always ready with a helping hand or a warm embrace. His loving spirit and infectious laughter will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Kelly’s Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the home of Natasha and Richard Palmer. The address is 233 Darval Burks Rd., DeRidder, Louisiana 70634. Celebration of life will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
As we say goodbye to Kelly Allen Dunn, let us remember the love he shared so freely and the joy he brought into our lives. His legacy will continue to shine brightly through his family and all those who were fortunate to have known him.
