Funeral services for Kayla Sue Welch Calhoun Scott, 71, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 12:00 Noon, Thursday, October 17, 2013, at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Roy & Rebecca Hennessey officiating. Burial will follow in the Stephens Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 16th from 4 pm - 9 pm, then Thursday, October 17th, from 8 am until service time in the chapel.
Sue, the daughter of Herman Lester and Ozell LaFern Reeks Welch was born February 12, 1942, in Leesville. She passed away Saturday, October 13th in Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Lester James Allen Welch, Lawrence Murl Welch & Laried Earl Welch and sister, Nora Kathalise Martin.
Sue is survived by her sons, Timothy Dale Calhoun & wife Mac of Lawrenceburg, TN and Robin Daniel Calhoun & wife, Rosa Lea of Lumberton, TX; daughter, LaTrinda “Trini” Kay-An Hadjikyriakou & husband Dino of Marietta, GA; brother, Connie Jerrol Welch of Leesville; sister, Karole Ann Inman of Prairieville, LA; grandmother, Margaret Jordan Reeks of Monroe, LA and seven grandchildren, Landon Calhoun, Ian Hadjikyriakou, Andy Hadjikyriakou, Christian Hadjikyriakou, Nicholas Hadjikyriakou, Kay-Alana Calhoun & Lairen Lea Calhoun.
