Kayla Eugenia Stewart was born December 27, 1985 in DeRidder, LA to Carl E. Payton, III and Cecelia Stewart. While growing up in Leesville, LA she attended Leesville High School where she graduated at the top of her class. She accepted Christ at an early age. She was a health care worker until she discovered her true passion was being a mother. Kayla enjoyed cooking, couponing, bingo, going out,, and her family. She was a community builder and formed her own legacy known as #Kay 5 Kreations, LLC. She built a business creating arrangements, wreathes and special décor in any shape to place on the doors of others. It is now true to say that Kayla was surely signifying the symbolic of inviting the spirit of God into your home. On July 2, 2022 Kayla received her wings to go on and be with the Lord.
She had a smile that could light up the darkest room. Kayla had a sense of humor that could change any sad moment and let’s not forget how she loved to cook.
Kayla was a role model and positive influence to all of her nieces and nephews.
Kayla was preceded in death by her grandparents William Stewart Sr. & Lois Stewart; Carl E. Payton & Mildred L. Payton.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother Cecelia Stewart and her father Carl E. Payton III, her children; 3 sons, Vernon (15) & Caden (13) Nicholas (6) and 2 daughters, MaKaylah (8) and Nicole (6); 3 sisters, Carla E.
