Kathy Parker's Obituary
Kathy Parker, 70, passed from this life on February 1, 2025 at her residence in Leesville, LA. Kathy was a graduate of Pickering High School, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed fishing, drinking coffee, and spending time with family. Her family was her whole heart. She leaves behind her & her husband’s legacy, Custom Welding, as well as her family.
She is survived by her two sons, Matthew Parker & wife Jodi Parker, Shane Parker & wife Shannon Parker; both of Leesville; two sisters, Anita Boillot and Julie Harville, both of Leesville; six grandchildren; Luke Parker, Kelsey Parker, Payton Talbert & husband Brennan Talbert, Jesse Parker & wife Lexy Parker, Jalyn Parker, and Leah Parker. Two great grandchildren, Brooklyn Bennett & Brettlyn Bennett. As well as two arriving this year, Cy Parker & LoraLyn Talbert.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alice Gandy Thompson and Rolan Thompson, her loving Husband Billy Parker, one brother, Richard Leland Thompson, and one sister Vivian Carol Thompson. As well as her clan of weenie dogs.
Pallbearers will be: Dewey Dowden, Brady Dowden, Jesse Parker, Jalyn Parker, Luke Parker, and
Brennan Talbert
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Chris Skinner and Scottie Sorrell
Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 Monday, February 3rd, 2025. Funeral Service for Kathy Parker will be held on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025 at 2:00 in Leesville, La. Ministers officiating will be the Reverend Ricky Wead & Brother Jason Nolde. Burial will be at Cooper cemetery, Leesville, LA under the direction of Labby Funeral Home.
