Kathleen M. Farris' Obituary
Graveside services for Kathleen M. Farris, 83, of Anacoco, Louisiana will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2012, at Farris Cemetery in Anacoco, LA, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Kathleen, the daughter of James and Audrey Brooks Stephens was born November 24, 1928, in Leesville, LA. She passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at her residence in Anacoco, LA.
Mrs. Farris was a lifetime resident of Vernon Parish. She graduated form Anacoco High School in 1945. She retired as a beautician and was a longtime Sunday School Teacher at First Baptist Church in Anacoco. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bo Farris and son, Gregory Farris.
She is survived by her sons, Byron “Pete” Farris of Anacoco, LA and Michael Farris of Natchitoches, LA; grandchildren, Ashley Daniel, Mindy Paddy, Jesse Farris and Caitlin Farris and great grandchildren, Byron Daniel, Natalie Daniel, Macinly Hicks, Carson Hicks, Cameron Paddy, Michael Farris and Kellen Farris.
