Julius Ronald Duplessis' Obituary
Julius Ronald Duplessis, 72, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2011, in Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana. Mr. Duplessis was a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and was a traveling union machinist. He was a resident of DeRidder, Louisiana, for most of his life and also owned a hog farm. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
Mr. Duplessis is survived by his wife, Dorothy Mae Sears Duplessis; sons, Duane Duplessis of Dutchtown, Louisiana, and Julius Duplessis, II of DeRidder, Louisiana; two daughters, Judy Duplessis of Rosepine, Louisiana, and Melinda Duplessis of Seattle, Washington; two sisters, Shari Paxton and Marilyn McAnally, both of Gonzales, Louisiana; and eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A private memorial service and burial will be held at later date.
