Judy Hill Marshall's Obituary
Funeral services for Judy Hill Marshall, 70, of Anacoco, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Anacoco with Bro. D.R. Davis and Sandy Guinn officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.., Thursday, December 27th, at the church and on December 28th, from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church.
Judy, the daughter of Jack Thomas and Mildred Virginia Morris Lowry was born August 5, 1942, in Marshall, TX. She passed away Sunday, December 23rd, at her residence in Anacoco, LA.
Judy worked for 24 years for the state of Louisiana Mental Health Department. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Anacoco. She was a strong woman and devoted to her Lord. She was a testimony and was an example to all of her family and friends and everyone who ever met her. After many years of fighting many health issues, Judy won the battle on Sunday morning when the Lord called her name and her many years of Faith finally became sight.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Douglas Marshall and grandchildren Cody and Jaden Marshall.
She is survived by her sons, Sammy & wife, Weida O’Dell of Anacoco, LA & Gary & wife Theresa O’Dell of Simpson, LA; daughters, Deana Truax of Anacoco, LA, Shannon & John Little of New Llano, LA, Rhonda & husband Tommy Ford of Anacoco, LA Glenda & husband Brad LeBlanc of Anacoco, LA, Bubba & Tina Marshall of Leesville, LA, & Tamara and Todd Welch of Leesville, LA; brother, Joe Dale & wife Nancy Harris of St. Petersburg, FL; sisters, Sue Jeanne Burnham of New Llano, LA & JoeAnn & husband Billy Hoppers of College Station, TX; Nineteen grandchildren and Six great grandchildren.
