Graveside Service for Judith Ann Knippers Riddick, 74, of Vivian, LA, will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013, 2:00 PM, Dry Creek Cemetery, Dry Creek, LA, with Rev. Roger Gill officiating. Burial will be at Dry Creek Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder, LA
Visitation will begin on Friday, March 8, 2013, 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder, LA.
Judith was born on August 12, 1938, to E. H. Knippers and Minnie Evans Knippers in Plaquemine, LA. She graduated in 1955, from DeRidder High School. Judith worked at Fort Polk as a receptionist during the Vietnam Era; Ellington Air Force Base and Barksdale Air Force Base as an Administrative Assistant. She was passionate about her family. She instilled the love of Christ in her children and showed it by her example. Judith was always ready to help anyone who needed her and never met a stranger. She loved life and loved to laugh. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Rudolph Riddick of Vivian, LA; son, James Cloessner and wife Marisa of Spurger, TX; daughter, Judith Renee’ Cole and husband Danny of Dry Creek, LA;
4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jimmy Knippers and sister, Betty Knippers Dodson.
