Joyce Gill Williams' Obituary
Funeral services for Joyce Gill Williams, 76, of Slagle, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at the Walnut Hill Pentecostal Church in Slagle with Rev. Dale Mortensen officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Grove Cemetery in Slagle, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 30th, at 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the church.
Joyce, the daughter of Chayler and Gertie Foshee Gill, was born March 5, 1938, in Merryville, LA. She passed away at her residence on Monday, December 29, 2014.
Mrs. Williams loved spending time her family and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Andrew Williams.
She is survived by her sons, Ralph Williams of Leesville, Alvin Williams of Slagle & Carl Williams of Slagle; daughters, Carey Cooper of Leesville, Wanda Owens of Slagle, Janet Wheetley of Slagle & Ethel Harvey of Dayton, TX; brother, Roy Gill of DeRidder; sister, Quinnie Richley of DeRidder; sixteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
