Joyce Elaine Plummer's Obituary
Memorial services for Joyce Elaine Plummer, 69, of New Llano, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at the Main Post Chapel at Fort Polk. Burial will follow in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
The Rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 and a visitation will follow until service time in the Main Post Chapel.
Joyce, the daughter of Ralph and Gladys Morinville Mercil was born on March 1, 1945 in Crookston, Mn. She passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in the Grace Home in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Mrs. Plummer was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Plummer.
She is survived by her son: Jason Plummer of New Llano, La.; Five Brothers: Robert Mercil of Woodberry, Mn., Kenneth Mercil of St. Paul, Mn., Richard Mercil of St. Paul, Mn., Thomas Mercil of Park Rapids, Mn., and Derald Mercil of Park Rapids, Mn.; Two Sisters: Deloris Delage of Nisswa, Mn., and Gloria Knott of Andover, Mn.; Two Grandchildren: James Plummer and Joyce Plummer
