Joyce Gordon Faulkner's Obituary
JOYCE GORDON FAULKNER passed away on June 30, 2011. She was born June 12, 1931 to James Freeman and Lucille Gordon of Anacoco.
She is survived by her son Kenneth Faulkner of Leesville, and daughters Vicky Beard (Gary) of Nesbit, MS, and Pam Goddard (Stew) of Cordova, TN. She has four granddaughters and three great-grandsons. She is also survived by three sisters, Sadie Legg Stermer of Leesville, LA, Elizabeth Ann Philyaw of Northlet, AR, and Rose Perkins of Houston, TX and one brother, Jimmie Rae Gordon of Hobbs, NM and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Brenda Gordon Firesheets and her brothers Elmon Gordon, Darvis Gordon.
Services will be private and the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. Mrs. Faulkner worked for the March of Dimes, City of Shreveport, and later moved to Memphis where she was a property manager before returning to Leesville.
