A devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother was born May 1, 1933 to Howard and Estelee Atnip in Brinkman, Oklahoma. She was married to Dorse E. Taylor on July 20, 1948. Together in that union they had 3 daughters Cynthia Taylor Jeane and husband Toddy, Kay Taylor Perkins and Husband John, and Cookie Taylor Stone and husband David. One Son: Eddie Taylor and wife Arby; She was a loving Nanny to 10 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
Nanny was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ed; her grandson, Rusty Jeane, and great grandson Wesley Martin.
Nanny lived her life to the fullest like one of her crochet patters “A mile a minute”.
Our Mother was an unselfish homemaker, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was always willing to serve other people with a smile. She loved sharing gifts of her crochet to family and friends. She was a faithful member of Good Hope Baptist Church of Anacoco. Nanny enjoyed working in the kitchen at bible school. She was better known as “Flo”, thanks to JoAnn Dixon. Nanny enjoyed her family, friends, playing bingo, playing Bunco, traveling, picking up lunch at Pete’s and the Anacoco Mercantile, visiting with her friends at the beauty shop, crocheting with Flo and enjoying her Tuesday lunches with Flo, Mable and Mavis.
Our Mom was an n Angel with a sweet smile. We will never forget an unselfish love that will live on in all the hearts she touched.
Nanny loved to treat her grandchildren to pancakes in the morning and a snack of her homemade peach fritters.
Nanny, Go rest High on that mountain, your work here is done. We love you, Your Family.
