Joy Love Martinez's Obituary
Joy Love Martinez, age 85, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away May 22, 2026. She was born on March 31, 1941 in DeRidder, Louisiana to the late Margaret Goins.
Her name was Joy Love, and that name said just about everything there was to know about her. She brought joy wherever she went and shared love freely with everyone blessed enough to know her.
Along with her mom, she is preceded in death by all of her siblings; husband, Henry Ray Martinez; and children, Jimmy Martinez and Anthony Martinez.
She is survived by her partner, Cowboy “Duane”; children, Norma (Duane) Coffin, Susan (Robert) Cunningham, Peggy Martinez, and Robert Martinez; 14 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and friends.
There will be visitation from 1:00-3:00p.m. on Monday, May 25, 2026 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home, 1504 N JP Wright Loop Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas.
There will be a graveside service at 11:00a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at Oak Forest Community Cemetery, 6796 Kurthwood Rd, Leesville, Lousiana.
