John E. Westlake's Obituary
John E. Westlake, 65, of Leesville passed away Monday, Dec. 15, 2008 at his residence in Leesville.
John retired from the US Army, after 20 years, as an E-7 Sergeant First Class, he was a veteran of the Vietnam War. After his retirement he worked for Mutual of Omaha and Liberty Life Insurance Companies then he worked for the Vernon Parish School Board as a Para-Professional. John also was a member and Deacon at the Grace Bible Church in Leesville.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years Rosita Westlake of Leesville; sons, Cody (wife, Becky) Westlake of Cottonwood, LA and Andre (wife, Beth) Westlake of Leesville, LA; daughter, Michelle (Husband, Roy) Parker of Leesville, LA; Sisters, Margaret Loricnz and Dottie (husband, Jack) Grace all of PA; 12 grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren
John was preceded in death by his son, John E. Westlake, Jr.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, December 18th, at 3:00 PM at the Grace Bible Church in Leesville with Pastor Larry David officiating. The burial, with full military services, will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery
Friends may call from 5pm till 9pm in the funeral home Wednesday, December 17th.
