We love you guys and regretfully are unable to be there. I'm thankfull I was able to visit with Paw Paw when I did. He is and always will be very special to me. Maw Maw and Paw Paw are like second parents to me. Always there when I need them, and always love me no matter what. Paw Paws legacy will live on through his children and grand children, great grand children and on and on. We are all part of each other and a part of us has gone to a better place. What he has left behind will continue to help shape us all and future generations. Blue collar work ethic, love for family and enjoying the simple things in life. Do what you can, while you can, when you can, and as much as you can. I will always admire, love and respect my Paw Paw.

To the family of Mr. John, I sincerely offer my condolences. I came to know and love this man of God. His spirit was so loving and generous. I am so sorry for the loss of this man.I have came to know how special he was to each and everyone of his children and grandchild and great grandchildren just by the words of his daughter Kaye.I feel your loss deeply and understand the pain you are going through from my own experince but god will give your family strenth to go on.Just keep in mind and it helps get you through each day is that one day you will be with him again in our beautiful heavenly home.

Mrs. Monk, so sorry to hear of Mr. Monk's passing. As a civil servant to the both of you the past 26 years in the commissary and a friend for a few years before that, I am saddened. My what a man he was. My sincerest of condolences and prayers to the family.
