Riley, affectionately known to many as Rilo, was married in 1987 to the love of his life Lisa Rogers. He was so loved by many people and was a very humble man who would give his shirt to someone who needed it. He went to school in Oklahoma to become a professional horse shoer and did it for many years, and loved doing it. He was a very good carpenter and did it well. He was a jack of all trades. When he was not working he loved to go fishing and hunting. He will be dearly missed by all those that knew him and loved him.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of almost 35 years, Lisa Rogers Davis of Rosepine; brothers, Lavon Davis and wife Tonya of Rosepine, Charles Rayford Davis, Jr. of DeRidder, Mark Davis of Rosepine, and Christopher Davis of Rosepine; brother-n-laws, Douglas Rogers and wife Trudy of Longville, Daniel Rogers and wife Jennifer of DeRidder, and David Rogers and wife Courtney of Rosepine; grandmother-n-law Frieda Green; and a host of many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Charles R. Davis, Sr. and Joyce Davis; parents-in-law, George Rogers and Lorene Rogers.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Heath Davis, George Williams, Corey Williams, Wade Gosnell, Larry Grimes, Carlos San Nicolas, Robert Capron, and Greg Powell.
