OBITUARY
John Ray Berry, Jr.
John Ray Berry, Jr. was born on September 23, 1975 to John and Mary Berry, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Johnny entered into his eternal reward on Monday, August 2, 2021 at Willis Knighton North.
Visitation will begin Friday, August 6, 2021, from 12:00 Noon until Funeral Service begins at 2:00 PM, King’s Temple United Pentecostal Church located at 8951 Kingston Rd, Shreveport, LA, 71118 with Pastor Damon Magee and Rev Mike Hudspeth officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Ridge Cemetery, 5201 LA-175, Pleasant Hill, Louisiana, 71065, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana.
Johnny enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved hunting and fishing as well as doing cookouts with his brother. Johnny loved God and he loved his pastor because he was not just his pastor, but, also a friend. He was a faithful member of Kings Temple United Pentecostal Church in Shreveport, LA.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thurman and Nettie Graves and grandfather, Bill Peacock.
He is survived by his wife, Joanna Berry of 21 years and daughter, Heidi Berry; parents, John Ray Berry, Sr. and Mary Jean Berry; his brother, Jason M. Berry and wife Jana Berry; grandmother, Dora Lee Peacock; nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Willis Knighton Medical Center.
Johnny will be greatly missed.
