Joe Carruth's Obituary
Funeral service for Mr. Joe LaDale Carruth, 76, of Anacoco, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2020 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. Dale Poe officiating. Burial will follow in the Cold Springs Cemetery in Anacoco under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 5:00 P.M-9:00 P.M. and Sunday, January 12, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Carruth was born on June 14, 1943 in DeRidder, LA. His faith and hope in Jesus Christ became sight for him on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at his home in Anacoco after a brief illness.
Mr. Carruth was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Anacoco. He loved fishing and hunting and spending time with his family.
He served in the United States Army from 1965-1967.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Mitchell & Pearl Hall Droddy; One Daughter: Joellyn Carruth.
Left to cherish his memory are his Special Friend “His Girl” Sissy Garrison of Leesville, LA; His Children: Cathy & Joe Boyd of Slagle, LA; Laurie Carruth of Anacoco, LA; Susie & Jimmy Haymon of Anacoco, LA; Keith & Darlene Carruth of Madisonville, LA; One Brother: Raymond & wife Debbie Droddy of Slagle, LA; Grandchildren: Anne Ashfield Morgan of Anacoco, LA; Michael & Lisa Boyd of Leesville, LA; Sara Boyd of Slagle, LA; Whitney & Robert Laurent of Anacoco, LA; Chase Haymon of Anacoco, LA; Samantha Williams of Albany, LA; April Jenkins of Mandeville, LA; Courtney Worsham of Holly Springs, MS; and Brittney Hodges of Kentwood, LA. Great Grandchildren: Jaxon Morgan, Cali Boyd, Camryn Boyd, Julia Williams, Joshua Williams, Sebastian Jenkins, Richard Jenkins, Alexis Jenkins, Riley Ballard, and Wesley Hodges.
