Jimmy Dale Strange's Obituary
Jimmy Dale Strange, 70, of DeRidder, LA, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2011, at his home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral services will be held at 10AM, Monday, May 9, 2011, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder. Interment will follow in Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 8, 2011, from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. at the funeral home.
He is survived by one son, Jimmy Dale Strange, II of Temple,Texas; two daughters, Carolyn McPherson and husband Tony of Salado TX and Rachell Caraway and husband Larue of Selma,AL; one brother, Kelly Gene Strange of DeRidder, LA and one sister, Christine Smith of Lake Charles, LA. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Genieve West.
Jimmy was born on October 20, 1940, to Racheal Orr Strange and Ted W. Strange in Pineville, LA. He was a lifelong resident of Beauregard Parish and was a retired truck driver for Central Freightliners for 37 years. Words of comfort may be share with the family at www.labbymemorial .com.
