Jimmy Bryan Brister, 74, of Leesville, Louisiana, passed from this life on April 29, 2018 at his home. Jimmy the son of Lena M. Maddox and Joe Edward Brister was born on March 8, 1944 in Pitkin, Louisiana.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, on Thursday, May 3,2018, at the Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA with Rev. David Lancon officiating.
Jimmy lived in DeRidder, Louisiana most of his life. He also formerly lived in Starks, Louisiana. He was formerly employed in the Merchant Marine and the Department of Transportation.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Walter Brister of Alabama, three sisters, Melba Legg of Leesville, LA; Rose Cooley of DeRidder, LA and Jo Dean Blevins of Edcouch, TX.
