Funeral services for Jimmy "Blev" Edward Blevins, 65, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Oak Forest Cemetery in L Read Obituary

Jim was cool, fair, just and quick-witted. I thank him for sharing some of his past, the most recent and whatever, whenever or whoever was on his mind. I enjoyed the discussions about his youth, friends, and jobs. I am forever grateful for the trust he had in me, for tolerating the things that would irk the common man and for being our Gladiator these past months. He is in peace now. May your only child be patient as I need to be to catch you later when our time arrives. She and I love you. Enjoy your walks. \r\n\r\nWell, let me see.
