Jimmie Lee Brannon's Obituary
Jimmie Lee Brannon, 73, of Fulshear, Texas, passed from this life on Sunday, May 12, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family.
Jimmie was born October 24, 1945, in Deridder, Louisiana, the son of Elmer and Hannah (Goins) Brannon. He grew up in Deridder and, on September 18, 1964, married the love of his life, Barbara Pasquale.
In 1965, Jimmie moved to Texas where he became a design engineer and went to work for the Dow Chemical Company where he worked for more than 40 years. He loved his job but had a passion for anything to do with nature and the outdoors. This passion led him to become a Certified Texas Master Naturalist.
Jimmie was also part Choctaw Indian and was a proud member of the “FOUR WINDS TRIBE, LOUISIANA CHEROKEE CONFEDERACY.
Jimmie is survived by his wife of over 54 years: Barbara Pasquale Brannon of Fulshear; daughter: Kim Campbell and her husband, Scott, of East Bernard, Texas; son: Scott Brannon and his wife, Shauna, of Katy, Texas; five grandchildren: Sydney, Lindsey, Ashley, Haley, and Wesley; and one great-grandchild: Colton.
He was preceded by his parents: Elmer and Hannah Brannon; grandson: Clay; and brother, Joey.
