Frank Santos
My belated condolences to all the family of Primo Jesus Leon Guerrero.
I share a special memory of him when I was assigned to Holy Ghoat Church in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1991. Je and his family drove from Leesville and he respresented his siblings back on Guam and his side of the family when he gathered for the installation as pastor of the church where I assigned. His family, support and presence was greatly appreciated. I did not know the extent of his service in the military and many honored moments. Though I had not kept in touch with him over the years prior to the event. his spirit of fidelity to our Chamorro culture and his service to the country and commitment. in his family came through i. the time shared at the mass and reception that followed.
May his good deeds in service be
carrried forward in the spirit of his example and fidelity to God,
the Church and the community.
May he rest in peace. May he rejoice with all God's Chosen ones. In life and in death we are the Lord's for we share in the Communion of saints.
